Homesteaders Life Company and Aurora Casket Company Affirm Support for Casket Protection Program
Des Moines, IA -- Top executives with Homesteaders and Aurora met recently to affirm their joint commitment to the industry-leading Casket Price Protection program. Michael Quinn, Aurora President & CEO and George DeHuff, Chairman of the Board met with the Homesteaders senior management team on August 29.
Following the meeting Quinn said, "There can be no doubt that our companies are completely aligned in supporting the Casket Price Protection program as a way for our customers to create value for their funeral homes and their clients."
Graham J. Cook, Homesteaders President & CEO adds, "We see many opportunities to leverage what each company offers to funeral home owners to help them succeed. Our discussions focused on working together to better communicate the unmatched value of our casket price protection program to our customers, while also increasing the number of participating firms.”
The program is now going on its 14th year of existence. Funeral homes that specify an Aurora casket or urn on an eligible Homesteaders policy pay less for the casket or urn at-need than the day that they wrote the pre-need policy.
Aurora and Homesteaders share a long-term commitment to funeral service and each brings greater than 100 years of expertise to the table. With innovations such as Aurora’s Advisor customer service system, Aurora provides tools to help funeral homes better reach and serve families.
Homesteaders is focused solely on funeral home success and provides a wide variety of marketing and expertise in support of its customers’ business goals along with the safe, secure funding consumers demand.
Homesteaders COO Steve Lang points out that the greatest challenge to any business is helping prospects and customers get the most out of the company's offerings. He says, "That's something we agree we want to work on. Funeral homes can maximize the benefits of this program by specifying Aurora caskets on as many Homesteaders contracts as possible and also ensuring that every eligible claim receives the benefits of price protection.”
Aurora Casket is the largest privately-owned funeral service supplier in America. Founded in 1890, the company operates five manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada, and provides a full range of burial, cremation, memorial and technology products to funeral home clients.
